Jewish Memorial Gardens offers a deferred payment plan for the purchase of interment rights.
For a purchase at the Bank Street Cemetery, the purchase may be spread over 36 months at the current rate of $130.56 per month per lot.
A deed to the Interment Rights purchased will be issued only upon full payment of the purchase price.
Purchasers may choose to pay by postdated cheques payable to Jewish Memorial Gardens, or by Visa or MasterCard, which will be automatically charged each month.
At any time during the course of the plan period, the purchaser will be permitted to make additional lump sum payments to be applied toward the unpaid balance.
If payments are not kept up to date, or should the purchaser wish to terminate this agreement, JMG reserves the right to cancel this contract, and retain a processing fee of $350.00.
Should use of the interment Rights being purchased be required before the contract has been fully paid, the outstanding balance related to that lot is due immediately.

This letter is to confirm that you have been approved to enter into a deferred payment agreement with Jewish Memorial Gardens (JMG) for the purchase of interment right(s) in Section _____, Row _____, Lot(s) _____ in the Jewish Memorial Gardens cemetery grounds in the City of Ottawa, 2692 Highway 31, Ottawa, Ontario K4P 1H8.
A deed to the right(s) purchased will be issued only upon full payment of the purchase price.
The terms of the agreement are as follows:
36 monthly payments dated the 1st of each month in the amount of $130.56 for each per lot.
You may choose to pay by postdated cheques payable to Jewish Memorial Gardens, or by Visa or MasterCard, which will be automatically charged each month. These payment arrangements can be made with either the Executive Director or Treasurer of JMG.
At any time during the course of the plan period, you will be permitted to make additional lump sum payments to be applied toward the unpaid balance.
If payments are not kept up to date, or should you wish to terminate this agreement, JMG reserves the right to cancel this contract, and retain a processing fee of $350.00.
Should use of any of the interment right(s) being purchased be required before the contract has been fully paid, the outstanding balance related to that lot is due immediately.
